Anzac Day. A Time to Reflect. A Place to Come Together.
A day that holds a special place at Catalina Club.
Each year, our team honours the occasion with quiet respect : attending both the Dawn Service and the main service, standing alongside our community in remembrance of those who have served.
Even the Catalina course plays its part, with our grounds team cultivating the natural flora used in the creation of the Anzac Day wreath. A small but meaningful tribute grown from our own land.
As the day unfolds, Catalina becomes a place to gather.
We proudly welcome veterans, current servicemen and women, families and friends to come together in the spirit of camaraderie that defines the day.
From 2pm to 5pm, the Batemans Bay Boars host the region’s iconic game of Two-Up, a tradition that brings people together in shared history and connection.
From 5pm, live music carries the afternoon into the evening, with one of the Bay’s favourite bands, Driving Sideways, taking the stage with Aussie anthems to continue the atmosphere in a way that is both celebratory and respectful.
Throughout the day, Catalina offers space to reflect, reconnect and share in something larger than ourselves.
The perfect place… to come together.
