At Catalina Club, we welcome over seventy-five local and statewide artists to our main stage every year . There is free live music every Saturday from dusk and every early evening through January. We also host local rock legends for Australia Day, Anzac Day, Melbourne Cup Day and other one-off specials.

Artist In Focus: Javier & The Wave
Sydney’s Javier & The Wave are one of Australia’s most exciting modern reggae acts — a high-energy, soul-soaked collective known for turning every show into a full-body experience. Blending classic reggae rhythms and modern groove, their sound is warm, infectious and impossible to stand still to.
With a brand-new album landing next month and a freshly released single already making waves, this February show at Catalina arrives at the perfect moment. The band is riding a creative high, bringing new material alongside the crowd-favourite covers that have built their reputation for unforgettable live sets.
There’s also something extra special about this return. The Catalina bar team have been asking for Javier & The Wave back for over a year — and on Saturday 14 February, they finally get their wish. For Valentine’s Night only, the band will be leaning into their love-themed reggae covers, crafting a soundtrack designed for dancing close, singing loud and settling into the romance of a summer evening by the bay.
From sunset through to late, expect smooth grooves, explosive energy and a room full of smiles.
