International Women’s Day: Take Your First Swing
Always thought about trying golf but not sure where to begin?
This International Women’s Day, Catalina Club is inviting women of all ages to experience the game in a relaxed, supportive and social setting, with two complimentary beginner sessions on Sunday 8 March.
Whether you’re looking for a social sport to complement your current fitness routine, or one activity that delivers your 10,000 steps in fresh coastal air instead of a crowded gym, golf might be exactly what you’ve been searching for.
Led by a trained PGA Professional, these free sessions are designed specifically for women who are new to the game. No experience required. No equipment needed. Just comfortable clothes and a willingness to give it a go.
You’ll learn the basics, meet other women starting the same journey, and discover why golf is one of the fastest-growing sports for women in Australia, offering not just movement and skill, but genuine friendships both on and off the course.
Two free sessions available this Sunday 8 March
Morning session from 10am meet and greet with free coffee
Afternoon session from 2pm meet and greet with free bubbles.
Places are limited to keep the groups welcoming and supportive.
If you’ve ever wondered whether golf could be for you then this is your sign.
