Eurobodalla golf members converge for Catalina Ladies Veterans Open

Under stunning skies, 60 ladies took to the course for the 2025 Catalina Lady Veterans Tournament on Monday 21 July. A Grade winner was our own Viv Thornett, backing up her 2023 victory in the same event. Viv had a great score of 36 points, and runner up was Marie Muriwai from Tuross Head Golf Club.

B Grade saw Christine Wratten from Tuross Head Golf Club with 37 points to beat locals Erica Benz and Alison Lee on 32 points each.

C Grade produced the best score of the day with Susan Hilder from Mollymook achieving 40 points from Marilyn Bingham from Tuross Head. More than 10 ladies from Tuross Head played, which was reflected in their great results.

Overall, it was a great day and a prompt lead-up towards the Veterans Open on Thursday 14 August, 2025.
