Men’s Health Assessments

Did you know that over the past five years it is estimated that over 450 lives have been saved because of these free basic health checks?

That’s why we’re excited to be partnering with the Bateman’s Bay Rotary Club and the Rotary Men’s Health Educational Rural Van to offer free health assessments on Friday 23 February and Saturday 24 February.

The van will operate from 9.30 AM to 3.30 PM on Friday and 9.30 AM to 12.30 PM on Saturday. The cost is free and appointments are not necessary.

Registered Nurse,  Leanne Garvey, who travels with the van around New South Wales, will provide the health assessments. An assessment covers checks of blood pressure, cholesterol and blood sugar levels. Leanne is also happy to have a quick chat about general health issues.

The Mens Health Education Rural Van is an initiative of the Rotary clubs of New South Wales and was originally set-up to focus on issues relating to men’s health. Women are, however, most welcome to receive a free assessment.
