With 14 years experience as a touring PGA professional with wins in five countries, experience as the former Singapore National Coach and High Performance Manager for Golf Australia, Matt Ballard is more than just a seasoned golfing pro.
Joining us at Catalina Club over November 4 and 5, 2026, Matt Ballard will offer members the unique and rare opportunity to join him in a small-group 3-hour clinic to master your short game (with a maximum of 8 attendees per clinic)

Finessing his skillset to the short game in recent years, Matt invites all golfers, no matter their skill level, to improve their golf game within 100 metres or less. His coaching blends encourages precision with practical advice and techniques to empower any golfer to sharpen their shots. Matt will cover:
- Putting – set-up fundamentals, green reading, aim, start line and speed control
- Chipping and pitching – contact, trajectory and controlling the first bounce
- Bunker play – technique and setup for shots requiring height and spin
- Wedge gapping – mapping real carry numbers from 40 to 100m
- On-course applications – real lies and short-sided situations
Three sessions are now open, with limited spots available in each:

- 10:00am-1:00pm Thursday 5 November
