Unlike our Crafter For The Curious releases, which arrive for a single keg appearance, Touring Team Beers stay on the taps a little longer, giving members and guests the chance to settle in and explore something new over a short series.

Think of it as a brewery tour without leaving the Bay.

Each visiting brewery brings a unique style, a fresh perspective and a beer worthy of selection. When one series concludes, another brewery takes its place, ensuring there’s always a new challenger stepping up to the crease.

Pouring deep black beneath a creamy tan head, Balter Black delivers subtle aromas of roasted espresso, dark chocolate, cherry and molasses. The palate leads with smooth chocolate notes before a touch of roast gives way to a crisp finish and the distinctive dry snap of rice lager brewing.
Low bitterness keeps the beer balanced and remarkably drinkable, proving that dark beer doesn’t have to be heavy.
