Sydneysiders Luo & Lam excel at Catalina Club’s South Coast Junior Masters

Riley Lam from Pennant Hills Golf Club has secured the boys division title at the 2025 South Coast Junior Masters
On August 30 and 31, 119 juniors travelled to Catalina Club to play against strong winds and tough competition, followed by pristine conditions on the final day of play.
In the boys’ division, Riley Lam from Pennant Hills Golf Club maintained a brilliantly consistent result across two days with an even par scorecard despite wild weather. His early advantage pushed him away from competitors, including The Australian Golf Club’s Blake Cranston, who finished his campaign at +5.
Lam’s success was his second win at Catalina’s course, having previously won the 15 Years division at the NSW Junior Championship.

Alicia Luo outpaced her competitiors in the girls division on August 30 and 31 at Catalina Club
In the girl’s division, Concord Gold Club’s Alicia Luo opened with a five-over score of 77, and only improved to leave her field of competitors behind. Luo closed out her campaign with 74, giving her a 7-shot win and her second Junior Masters title.
Representing his home club, Bill Eppelstun placed fourth after a dramatic three-way playoff against Finn Whitelock from Royal Canberra and Cooper Starkey of Bathurst on the 18th hole. Meanwhile, his sister Bronte Eppelstun tied in third place overall and was crowned as her age group’s runner up.
